From goupstate.com:

The second All Go West Festival begins at noon on the streets of West Asheville and will go strong for 10 hours. During that time, 19 artists will play on two stages, shops will be open, vendors will sell wares and the festival’s Beer and BBQ Tasting will take place.

“We saw so much attention downtown and there wasn’t anything going on in West Asheville, so we wanted to bring something to that area that would help benefit that area,” said the event’s director and founder Jimmy Hunt. “We’ve taken note of Bele Chere and LAAFF (Lexington Avenue Arts and Fun Festival) and what they’ve done and we’re trying to take elements of those but also bring in some of our own style.”

Last year’s event was held on a rainy day, but 2,000 people still showed up. By beefing up the music lineup, Hunt said he hopes that 3,000 people attend this weekend.

Local group Josh Phillips Folk Festival is the headliner, but there is plenty of other artists involved.

It's too bad that the organizers don't know the name of the street the festival is being held on…it's Waynesville Avenue, not Waynesville Road.
