The Beer Guy says that the lovely and talented Andie MacDowell will make a special appearance in a couple of weeks:

Life imitates art when Asheville movie star Andie MacDowell, star of the hit 1993 movie “Groundhog Day,” makes a Groundhog Day appearance at the WNC Nature Center.

The festivities, starting at 2 p.m. Feb. 2, include an up-close view of the Nature Center’s new resident groundhog, Nibbles, who was brought to the facility this year by a family that had raised the animal. Accustomed to easy meals and unafraid of humans, Nibbles could not be released into the wild.
