Here are the details:

Only 3 hours to find the costume of your dreams! Don’t miss Asheville Community Theatre’s 1st annual costume sale in the main lobby starting Saturday, Oct. 27 from 9 am until noon. Around 300 pieces, including costumes items, shoes, hats, accessories, and miscellaneous treasures will be available to purchase.

The sale will feature costumes that have appeared in ACT’s Theatre productions during the past few years, along with many one-of-a kind accessories including vintage pieces and military uniforms.

Cate Foltin, managing director, explains, “We have items for sale from every area of the wardrobe, including costumes that first made their debut on the mainstage back in the 1960’s. With many items starting at just $5.00, we hope that people will take the opportunity to come along and purchase a piece of theater history.”

Proceeds will be used to help the Asheville Community Theatre’s Wardrobe Shop create new costumes for upcoming productions. For more information, please visit the Web site at www.ashevilletheatre.org, or call Cate Foltin at 254-1320; email at [email protected].

Showed up this morning, no sign, no people, under construction. Their website said it was postponed until spring of 08, but they didn’t seem to bother much about getting the word out.
