Art by quadriplegic painter in running to become label for Biltmore wine

This is a pretty neat story. From revpictures.wordpress.com:

Marcus Thomas is an amazing local artist, a dear friend and inspiration. He is a quadriplegic–paralyzed below the neck–and uses his mouth to paint some of the most incredible artwork I have ever seen. His design “Biltmore Winter” is one of the finalists for the 2012 Christmas at Biltmore wine label.

The online voting for the 2012 Biltmore wine label is here. Voting closes Feb. 29. Meantime, check out this inspiring video.

So glad to reconnect with Marcus Thomas. Worked with him and his wife Anne on an art project years ago when I was at Thoms Rehabilitation Hospital (now called CarePartners). His painting has developed significantly since then and it’s wonderful to see! Would love to see his label win and have already voted. Thanks for letting us know about this, Jason.
