Hey Ash,

My dear friend Suzy Phillips who just had a great writeup in the Mountain Express is trying to get her food truck off the ground with the Kickstarter fund raising website. She is already over halfway to her goal of $8000 but needs more people’s help. Can you post a link to her site to see if we can drum up some more donations from folks? There are incentives for people to donate in the form of gift certificates for her food, cooking classes, drawings from her husband Gabriel Shaffer, and more depending on the level of giving. The link to her kickstarter site is attached.

I was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. I love to cook, garden, paint and entertain! I live in Asheville, NC with my talented visual artist husband and two dogs and a cat. I film a cooking show on youtube and Asheville’s public access called Gypsy Queen Cuisine. My dream would be complete if I have my own business which I hope to start soon.
