Asheville Film Festival update

Just days after Ashvegas wondered alot what the heck was up with the Asheville Film Festival, which is just a month away, we get word that tickets for the festival will go on sale Oct. 17. We have yet to see a schedule, though.

Also on Friday, the festival announced that Jennifer Tilly, 48, will receive the Career Achievement Award at Diana Wortham Theatre in Ashvegas. Tilly, the jiggly, squeaky voiced actress who’s appeared in such films as Seed of Chucky and Liar, Liar, will be in town on Nov. 11 to pick up the award.
