asheville_outlets_2014Asheville Outlets announced today that it will open May 1. On its Twitter account, @ShopAsheville, the center also announced it would begin announcing the 75 or stores that will populate the new outdoor outlet mall beginning March 1. Finally, the company said it would be holding a job fair at the WNC Agricultural Center-Expo building on March 26 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

I’ve already been reporting the names of some of the businesses that plan to open at Asheville Outlets. Auntie Anne’s Pretzel, Brooks Brothers, Nike Factory Outlet, Ann Taylor, Under Armour, JCrew, American Eagle, Cole Haan, Asics, GNC, Bass, China Max, Kay Jewelers, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Abercrombie & Fitch, Carters/Osh Kosh B’Gosh, Forever 21, Banana Republic, Famous Footwear, Maurice’s, Gap Factory Outlet, Rack Room Shoes and Johnston & Murphy are some of the stores planning to move in, according to local records.

Here’s a list of Asheville Outlets stores that is unconfirmed.

Stay tuned for more.

How about a story on how outlet malls scam
People into thinking they are getting products at a discount when really 95 percent of what is sold is low quality made for outlet garbage.

I hope it’s not true- but that’s my experience and what I have read.

I heard they are going to be hosting a huge grand opening the day before the official open date. Is there anything information at this available?
