Asheville Pizza & Brewing, which has a pizza joint on Merrimon Avenue and a pizza joint/brewing operation on Coxe Avenue, is planning to open a third location on Hendersonville Road.

Word on the street is the location will be 1850 H’ville Road, where the old Domino’s used to be there, next to Earth Fare. The location will be delivery and carry out only, and there will be beer delivery and growler fill-ups.

Dec. 1 is the planned opening day. Asheville Pizza is planniing to hire 10 to 12 people.

GrillmasterJ – have you been in the last few weeks? They've actually just completed some nice work. I've been going there for nearly a dozen years and I congratulate them on their success and expansion!

I go to the ABC for the atmosphere, not the food. I think I'll stick with Brixx down here.

Instead of opening a new location they need to take that money and renovate the Merrimon Ave location. I love the place, but its kind of a dump. Not too long ago I was sitting on the patio out front and saw a rat scurrying around.

Why on earth would they open a place so close to other pizza joints and a brewery?
Competition is always good for business but when you have to split your profits with other businesses so close in the area it will become hard to pay the bills. Good luck with that Asheville Pizza and Brewing.
