UPDATED 1/11: Great short video showing Cutty’s aerosol technique.

Gus Cutty show

Asheville Citizen-Times reporter/blogger Carol Motsinger notes the show. Here’s Motsinger quoting Gus Cutty:

This show features portraits of humans and animals created exclusively with aerosol in a variety of styles.  The pieces are an extension of the techniques I have begun to master in my street murals over the past year since my return to Asheville from San Francisco.  Time, history, and growth both within me as an artist and the subjects I have chosen are the themes I focused on for this show “Time Brought Age”.  I am very excited about my first solo show at Push Skateshop & Gallery, one of the most forward thinking galleries in my hometown.

There’s an opening from 7-11 p.m. on Jan. 11 at Push Skateshop and Gallery on Patton Avenue.
