Asheville’s incredible, shrinking Bele Chere

I noted in this post on Jan. 31 that it’s looking like this year’s Bele Chere will be smaller than ever. Smaller footprint. No ticketed concerts. Less beer. Less butt-crackery.

WLOSers picked up on that too, and reported that the festival will be smaller.

I’m hearing that Bele Chere will likely have only four stages this year. I wonder what other changes are coming.
