UPDATED Cafe Azalea re-opens in March in East Asheville

UPDATED Feb. 27: According to a Craigslist ad asking for servers, cooks and bartenders, Tunnel Road’s Cafe Azalea–which closed unexpectedly last month–seeks staff for a re-opening in March.

The loss of Azalea was a blow to the east side. Good luck to new owner Kris Dietrick and team.

Cafe Azalea in East Asheville announced last month it was closing. Now it appears that there’s a new owner for the restaurant, who has announced Cafe Azalea is reopening:

Cafe Azalea will be reopening in March. We will have more info to follow.

And from the new owner:

My name is Kris Dietrick, I am the new Owner of Cafe azalea. I will need some good produce. Lets Talk.
