Cool, green Asheville
“Cool, green Asheville” was a marketing slogan for Ashvegas back in the ’80s (maybe even late ’70s). I think it was one of the best slogans we’ve had. It’s simple. It’s real.
Our city’s tourism officials will be rolling out a new marketing/ad campaign this week. We’ll see what they come up with.

Any clue when the photo was taken? I like “Cool, Green Asheville” as well. Although I imagine we’ll be labeled with something more trendy next week.
