Darcel to WLOS viewers: I’m recovering from an illness
Fans of longtime WLOS television news anchor Darcel Grimes have noted Grime’s absence from local newscasts. On Thursday, Grimes posted an update on WLOS’s page on Facebook:
“I appreciate the concern regarding my absence from the Newscasts. I am recovering from an illness. My doctors say I am improving. I look forward to being back on the air soon. Thanks for your well wishes and prayers.”
