Press release:

In December, the owners of Grove Corner Market asked the public to help name the new location in West Asheville. On February 20th, they will unveil the new name at a community celebration at the market from 2pm to 6 pm.

The festivities will include food sampling, beer and wine tastings, face-painting, door prizes, and live music all afternoon. The new name and “Hello Our Name is” contest winner will be revealed at 5 p.m., with the winner receiving a $100 gift certificate for the market and deli. Everyone who submitted names and attends the party will also receive a special gift.

“We had a lot of very creative entries,” says co-owner Rosanne Kiely. “We think we have chosen the perfect name for the community and our business, and we wanted to celebrate our new name and thank everyone for their participation with a party for the neighborhood.”

For more information about the celebration go to www.thegrovecornermarket.com, follow the store’s Facebook page  and Twitter account (@grovecorner), or call 828-225-4949.
