Construction crews are installing one mean-looking fence around the federal building parking lot in downtown Ashvegas. Right now, the public can still walk through the parking lot freely. But it looks like once this sharp-edged fence is complete, nobody will be able to step foot on federal building property without getting waived in by security personnel first.

Great shot, Ash. I’m with Catnap–what’s up with closing a nice public walkway?

This project has been in the works for several years, and was only recently awarded and the work begun. There are supposed to be manned-guard posts at either side of the parking area when finished.
