Here’s the reminder from my friend and loyal reader, Asheville Citizen-Times photographer John Fletcher. Fletcher teamed up with Asheville poet and writer Laura Hope-Gill on a beautiful book called The Soul Tree. It combines Fletcher’s wonderful mountain landscapes with Hope-Gill’s soulful words. Again, great gift potential here, folks:

Just a note to let you know that Laura and I will be giving a presentation from our book, The Soul Tree, at the Colburn Earth Science Museum at Pack Place in downtown Asheville this Wednesday, December 9th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The event is free and refreshments will be served with proceeds going to the museum. Feel free to join us for a photograph, poem, glass of wine, or just to visit!
