Original post July 2013: More about Posh, the new boutique hotel in Biltmore Village:

POSH is a boutique hotel located in the heart of Biltmore Village in Asheville, North Carolina. Asheville provides the breathtaking scenery and POSH will take care of everything else.

Our company is based on the belief that our customers’ needs are of the utmost importance. Our concierge team is committed to meeting those needs. We encourage high-maintenance.

We are located in the heart of Biltmore Village. We believe once you park your car, you will not need it again until your departure. We are steps from the finest cuisine, shopping and galleries.

All of our suites start at 2300 sq ft and have fully equipped kitchens, dining rooms, two bedrooms and two baths. Each suite has a balcony overlooking the back lawn. We are pet friendly provided your animal is friendly. We look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you may have.

P.S We are in the process of developing a bar and lounge with the finest scotch and hard to find wines. In addition, we will soon have a wedding and special events venue complete with waterfalls, fireplace and outdoor kitchen.

      The strange part is that they already have a better, although not stellar, web site with a lot more information on the specific rooms, more photos, etc. I’m guessing someone accidentally put the old link into the press release, and is regretting it seriously now . . .

    I’m pretty sure this is just a set of suites in the old Biltmore Hospital building that they’ve been unable to sell. They were operating as a Festiva Resorts property for the last few years, and you could actually get surprisingly good deals on rooms there (<$250 for a two-bedroom, full-kitchen suite). Now that it's been branded as an actual hotel and some staff and amenities have been added, I hope they'll be able to recruit enough customers at those higher price points to keep things operating.
