Looks like  a great series. Press release here:

The Magnetic Field and Head, Heart, and Hips Music have joined forces to create The Magnetic Song Series, a concert series in which three seasoned singer/songwriter’s are put on stage together to swap songs and share stories. The casual, intimate atmosphere of the theatre invites the audience to become part of the event; each night promises to be a completely unique experience in which the exact combination of who is on stage and who is in the audience creates an evening that could never be replicated.

The series, which is sponsored by Charlotte Street Computers, begins this Wednesday, July 11th @ 8:00p–future performances will occur on the second Wednesday of each month. Tickets are just $5 (buy tix now here).

JULY 11
David Earl Tomlinson (of David Earl and The Plowshares)
Pierce Edens (of Pierce Edens and The Dirty Work)
Silas Durocher (of The Get Right Band and Soulgrass Rebellion)
