Gary Glancy, reporter and beer writer for the Hendersonville Times-News, reports on his Hoppy Hour blog the following news:

–Green Man Brewing on Buxton Avenue in Asheville plans to break ground on a planned expansion July 9. The brewery will install a new 30-barrel system.

-Green Man Brewing and Nantahala Brewing are teaming up to make a new beer.

-And at Wedge Brewing, the popular Golem, a Belgian-style beer, will be back on July Fourth. The beer normally comes out on Halloween.
