Shelia Dail, the 57-year-old flight attendant who was on board U.S. Airways flight 1549 that made an emergency landing on the Hudson River a few weeks back was one of five crew members honored at the Super Bowl Sunday night.

Dail, who lives in Woodland Hills, walked out into the center of the field along with pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, co-pilot Jeffrey B. Skiles and flight attendants Doreen Walsh and Donna Dent.

It was amazing that nobody died in the emergency landing. Dail and her colleagues were praised for staying cool under pressure and handling the situation like true professionals.

Congratulations again go to Dail and the crew.
